At Reid Park Zoo you can experience over 250 animals from all around the world and a myriad of family-fun activities, education programs, and events.

The Reid Park Zoo is a 24-acre city-owned and operated non-profit zoo founded in 1967.  With more than 250 animals, you’ll have the opportunity to explore naturalistic habitats housing exotic animals from around the world. You can travel from the South American rainforest to the African savannah all in one day. You’ll get to experience up-close views of tigers, anteaters, lions, grizzly bears, elephants, rhinos, and more! More than animals, Reid Park Zoo offers some fun attractions such as giraffe feeding, Zoo Express train rides, a Wildlife Carousel, and a “Kenya Get Wet” splash adventure. Additionally, education programs, events, and animal presentations provide new ways to engage with your Zoo during every visit! You can help protect wildlife with Reid Park Zoo by visiting and having some fun with your family or friends! Reid Park Zoo conducts careful breeding, provides expert care to their animals, and has conservation partnerships around the world!

Zoo Hours: Oct.-May, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., June-Sept. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Admission: Adults 15-61, $9; Seniors 62+ $7; Children 2-14, $5; Children under 2, free.
