These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tucsonans Directory website and services ("Tucsonans," the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service and at least 18 to submit a business listing.
• When you sign up, you agree to provide accurate information (name and email address, or an authorized third-party sign-in such as Google) and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

2. Business Listings and Community Content

• You may submit a business only if you own it, are authorized to represent it, or are recommending it in good faith as a community member. Submitted listings are reviewed before publication and may be edited for accuracy, formatting, or completeness, or declined at our discretion.
• Reviews, ratings, and comments must reflect your genuine experience or opinion. Fake reviews, paid endorsements without disclosure, and review manipulation are prohibited.
• You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Tucsonans a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
• You may not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, infringing, deceptive, or that contains malware or unauthorized advertising.

3. Directory Information Disclaimer

Listings, hours, ratings, event details, and news summaries are provided for general information and convenience. While we work to keep information current, we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness. Always confirm details (hours, pricing, availability) directly with the business or event organizer. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement.

4. Acceptable Use

• No scraping, bulk harvesting, or automated collection of directory data without written permission.
• No attempts to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• No impersonating another person, business, or Tucsonans staff.
• No use of the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable Arizona or federal law.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Tucsonans Directory or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Business names, logos, and photos in listings belong to their respective owners. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, notify us through the contact page with sufficient detail to evaluate the claim, consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

6. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY ARIZONA LAW, TUCSONANS DIRECTORY AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY DEALINGS WITH BUSINESSES LISTED IN THE DIRECTORY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tucsonans Directory and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from content you post, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Pima County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms waives protections available to consumers under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act (A.R.S. § 44-1521 et seq.).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
