WATCH: Helicopter crash in Superior prompts family to push new bill in Congress

Seven months after a helicopter crash near Telegraph Canyon in Superior killed four people, the victims’ families are urging Congress to pass a new bill.

Elizabeth McCarty Gallup, a family member supporting the proposal, said lawmakers are recognizing the risks posed by temporary obstructions. She described the crash as an example of those dangers.

The families hope the bill will help prevent similar crashes in the future.
