Tucson Now: Art Heals Arizona

Art Heals Arizona is a nonprofit that supports children, teens and families who have experienced abuse, neglect or homelessness.

The group uses art programs to help participants build confidence, resilience and healthy ways to cope. The goal is not professional art training, but giving people a way to express themselves and explore their creativity.

With the back to school season sometimes bringing added challenges, Art Heals Arizona has expanded into Tucson and is seeking more volunteers.
