Jennifer Mendrzycki is stepping down as president and CEO of TMC Health for personal reasons. The organization’s Board of Trustees appointed longtime executive Mimi Coomler to take over both roles immediately.
Board Chair Louise Francesconi credited Mendrzycki with guiding TMC Health through growth, expanding access to care and strengthening health services across Southern Arizona. She said the board respects Mendrzycki’s decision.
Coomler has worked for TMC Health for more than 20 years. Before becoming the system’s new leader, she served as CEO of Tucson Medical Center, where she focused on clinical quality, operations and patient experience.
