'She's not forgotten': Neighbors remember Guthrie, seek peace for her family

Six months after Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her Catalina Foothills home, neighbors say they have not forgotten her or her family.

Residents have been hesitant to speak publicly because of security concerns. One neighbor said the disappearance has made people more aware of their surroundings and left them with many unanswered questions.

Signs remain around Guthrie’s home, including notices warning against trespassing, private property access and deliveries. Yellow ribbons still hang from mailboxes and trees, along with small charms. A temporary memorial near her mailbox has been removed.

The neighbor said the community continues to hope Guthrie’s family finds peace and closure. Residents also want those responsible to be caught and brought to justice.
