Salad and Go files for bankruptcy, closing all locations

Salad and Go has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and plans to close all of its locations. The Arizona-based chain said it will serve its last customers Wednesday.

The company opened its first restaurant in Gilbert in 2013 and later expanded across Arizona and Nevada.

In January, Salad and Go closed its restaurants and facilities in Texas and Oklahoma as it shifted its focus back to Arizona. CEO Mike Tattersfield expressed gratitude to employees, customers and business partners in a statement.
