Harkins debuts Arizona's first 4D immersive movie experience with the new ‘Spider-Man’ movie

Harkins has opened Arizona’s first 4D immersive movie experience at its Norterra theater in north Phoenix.

The auditorium uses motion seats and synchronized effects, including scents, air, water and other environmental cues. It offers both 4D-E Motion 3D and 4D-E Motion screenings of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

Harkins Norterra is at 2550 W. Happy Valley Road in Phoenix. Showtimes for “The Odyssey” in 4D are expected to be added soon, while Harkins has not yet announced locations for other planned Arizona 4D theaters.
