Flooding closes multiple roads in southern Pima County

Pima County closed several roads Friday evening near Sahuarita as flooding moved through southern Pima County.
Country Club Road is closed north and south of Dawson Road at the wash. Dawson Road is closed on both sides of Country Club Road, with flooding also extending west along Dawson Road.
Additional closures include Dawson Road east of Palo Verde Road and west of Alvernon Way. Alvernon Way is closed north of Dawson Road and south of Sahuarita Road. Sahuarita Road is closed west of Wilmot Road and east of Comsoft Drive.
The county issued caution advisories, rather than closures, for two low water crossings on Whitehouse Canyon Road near Green Valley. One is north of Campbell Avenue, and the other is at the first dip south of Valle de las Rosas. Conditions may change, and drivers should avoid closed roads and use extreme caution where water is crossing the roadway.
