Del Lago Golf Club set to close its doors

Del Lago Golf Club in Vail is closing, according to a statement from its owners. The course is the centerpiece of the Rancho del Lago master-planned community.

The owners said they had spent years working to keep the course open, including significant time and money to support its operations.

They said higher costs and declining demand made continued operation no longer feasible. The course will remain open and operate normally through August 9.
