Barrio Restoration invites community to join neighborhood cleanup event Saturday

Barrio Restoration is inviting South Tucson residents to help clean up Sixth Avenue this Saturday, July 25. The event begins at 7 a.m. at 3033 S. Sixth Ave.

Volunteers will pick up litter, paint trash cans, and create and paint planters made from tires.

The family-friendly cleanup will include free food and music. The South Tucson Fire Department will provide a cool-down area, and Gentlemen’s Choice Barbershop will offer free haircuts.

Everyone is welcome to participate.
