Arizona Wildcats finalize 2026-27 men's basketball nonconference schedule

Arizona has finalized its 2026-27 men’s basketball nonconference schedule, including five regular-season home games at McKale Center. The Wildcats will host Cal Poly, New Orleans, Tennessee Tech, Northern Illinois and Incarnate Word.

Arizona will also play three exhibition games at McKale Center under a new NCAA rule allowing teams to schedule up to three preseason exhibitions. The opponents are San Francisco, San Diego State and Eastern Washington.

Eastern Washington coach Dan Monson has a close relationship with Arizona coach Tommy Lloyd. Monson previously faced Arizona as Long Beach State’s coach in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

The Wildcats also received their assignments for the Maui Invitational. Arizona is scheduled to face Colorado State in the opening round, followed by a game against either VCU or Providence. Its third opponent will be one of Clemson, Mississippi, Washington or BYU.
