A more active Monsoon pattern

Tucson will start the day partly cloudy and hot, with an Extreme Heat Warning in effect until 8 p.m. today.

Thunderstorm chances will increase during the late afternoon and evening. Blowing dust is also possible, with a Blowing Dust Advisory from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

A Flood Watch is in effect from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. A more active monsoon pattern is expected to continue starting Tuesday. High temperatures today will be 4 to 7 degrees above normal, followed by modest cooling.
