3 hurt in I-19 rollover near Tucson, all seriously injured

Three people were seriously injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on southbound Interstate 19 near kilometer post 59.

The Santa Rita Fire District and Arizona Department of Public Safety responded at about 8:30 a.m. Firefighters found all three people trapped inside the vehicle and removed them from the wreckage.

All three were taken to a Tucson-area trauma center with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries. DPS is investigating the crash.
