The Jackrabbit Lounge grew out of an earlier idea. In 2018, its founders were planning to launch what they called the first Nocturnal Creatures Lounge. An unforeseen building fire put that plan on hold, but the setback led to the creation of The Jackrabbit Lounge instead. The resulting concept brought together the retro style, cocktails, shareable plates, and entertainment that now define the Tucson venue.
