The Complete Canine is a Tucson dog-training facility offering group classes, private sessions, and doggie day care for dogs and their owners. Owner and trainer Jeremy brings decades of experience with dogs and has worked as a professional trainer for the past 15 years. He holds a degree in marketing from Indiana University and completed an Applied Animal Behavior Certificate through the University of Washington in 2020. Jeremy has been a Canine Good Citizen evaluator since 2012, a therapy dog handler since 2012, and a Pet Partners evaluator for more than five years. He currently trains therapy dogs for the Pima County Police Department, the Sahuarita Police Department, and the University of Arizona Police Department. The site also notes recognition from Greatmats in 2015, 2016, and 2017, as well as Arizona Daily Star reader recognition in 2018, 2019, and 2022.
The training team includes co-owner and trainer Kari, who has more than 40 years of dog-training experience and specializes in service dogs for Parkinson's disease. Her background also includes more than 35 years as a zookeeper, along with a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management. Trainers Jen T., Tania, Jenny, Patti, Toni, Morgan, and Santanyia bring backgrounds in education, animal sciences, animal-assisted activities, rescue work, grooming, dog shows, and professional training. Their areas of interest include puppy socialization, rescued dogs, assistance animals, therapy work, agility, tricks, and behavior modification.
