The Rogue Theatre is a Tucson community arts theater presenting creative productions of classic and contemporary plays. Its work centers on language, ensemble, and challenging ideas, with a stated mission to create theater that challenges, stretches, and invigorates the community. The theater's main season brings together works from a wide range of dramatic traditions. The 2026 to 2027 season, identified as the company's 22nd season, includes Henrik Ibsen's "A Doll's House," adapted by Amy Herzog; Arthur Miller's "All My Sons"; Peter Shaffer's "Equus"; John Patrick Shanley's "Doubt"; and William Shakespeare's "Cymbeline." These productions are scheduled across the season from September 2026 through May 2027. Five-play season packages are available, with individual tickets scheduled to go on sale in early August.

Alongside its full productions, The Rogue Theatre presents the John and Joyce Ambruster Play-Reading Series. The 2026 to 2027 readings include Eugène Ionesco's "Rhinoceros," translated by Derek Prouse; Anton Chekhov's "Love" and "The Harmful Effects of Tobacco," translated by Constance Garnett; Julia Cho's "The Language Archive"; and Joan Lindsay's "Picnic at Hanging Rock," adapted by Tom Wright. The theater also maintains a record of past shows and play-readings, and its website offers a calendar for upcoming events. Play-reading subscriptions are offered in three- and four-reading packages, with individual ticket availability varying by reading.

The company's activities extend beyond staged performances.
