Pawsitive Vibes grew from years of planning and research by founder and president Bruce Caulkins. Born and raised in Galesburg, Illinois, Caulkins is an artist educated at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago and has worked in managerial retail for more than 30 years. He created the shop with a desire to build a Tucson local business offering quality dog and cat products that are unavailable at big box retail. Caulkins and his husband have called Tucson home since 2019 and live on the northwest side of town. Their household includes six dogs, three cats, two ferrets, one cockatoo, and one arachnid, giving the business a particularly broad familiarity with life alongside companion animals.
Pawsitive Vibes welcomes Tucson pet owners looking for food, treats, toys, clothing, beds, wellness items, grooming and oral care products, cleaning supplies, and accessories in one canine-friendly setting.
