Barrio Brewing Co. is a Tucson brewery and pub with roots in the Old Pueblo. Native Arizonans Dennis and Tauna Arnold opened Tucson's first full mash brewery in 1991, establishing a business that has grown from a local brewpub into a brewery whose beer is available across Arizona. Today, Barrio Brewing Co. remains based in Tucson, with its taproom just outside Downtown Tucson. The setting combines a quirky industrial atmosphere with a local take on bar food, making the brewery a place for both house beer and casual dining.
The taproom serves a rotating selection of Barrio beers, with up to 12 house beers on tap. The brewery's core beers include Tucson Blonde, Hipsterville Hazy IPA, Citrazona, and Barrio Rojo. Its menu and beer program are connected to the company's Tucson identity, with beers described as being inspired by the Old Pueblo and food presented as a local take on bar fare.
