Growler’s Taphouse was initially named and themed based on the origin of the growler. A growler is a glass, ceramic, or stainless steel bottle that’s been historically used to transport draft beer. Since then, they’ve become more interested in the history of alcohol and the prohibition in the United States. Therefore, they invite you to celebrate the repeal of the 21st amendment that outlawed alcohol in this country by drinking with them today (and every day)!
